Scandinavian Airlines has launched flights to Hong Kong and reopened its lounge at Arlanda following an extensive refurbishment. Hong Kong is one of the world’s busiest airports and is the largest in the world in terms of freight. The route has five departures per week from Stockholm and provides convenient connections to cities in Scandinavia and other major European hubs.

Air Canada Cargo and Cargojet have launched freighter flights to Bogota (Colombia), Lima (Peru) and Mexico, operated with a Cargojet B767-300F aircraft. The new Air Canada Cargo flights will provide 52 tonnes of net cargo capacity.

Japan Airlines (JAL) has confirmed that its fully revamped Boeing 777-200ERs named JAL Sky Suite 777 (SS2) will debut on flights between Haneda and Bangkok from 18 June 2016. The newly revamped aircraft will be progressively introduced on the Haneda Singapore route in August, with plans for further expansion to the Honolulu route from January 2017.

Air Canada has launched flights between Vancouver and Dublin, Ireland. Air Canada Rouge will operate the route three times weekly until 8 October 2016 with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.

The new simulator is located at the AACE training centre in Glenmarie, Selangor, Malaysia and brings the total number of full-flight simulators at all AACE centres to 12.
