Dusit has announced that it is aiming to reopen the dusitD2 Nairobi hotel in June 2019. The hotel was closed on 15 January 2019 following an attack by Somali militants which claimed the lives of 21 innocent people. In addition to the hotel, the 14 Riverside complex in Nairobi’s exclusive Westlands neighbourhood houses restaurants, shops, and offices.

Tourism Solomons has confirmed that the second annual ‘Me Save Solo’ tourism exchange will take place in Honiara on 5 July 2019.
