GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of General Electric, has ordered 15 ATR 72-600s, plus 15 options. The deal is valued at approximately US$680 million at list prices, including options. This is a first-time ATR order for GECAS.

Aurigny, a Guernsey-based airline, has taken delivery of the first of three ATR 72-600 aircraft. Aurigny plans to replace its existing fleet of three ATR 72-500 aircraft with the more efficient and comfortable -600 Series.
189. Transport Canada Certifies ATR 72-500
The ATR 72-500 aircraft has received certification from Transport Canada, the Canadian airworthiness authority. The certification enables Canadian airlines to operate ATR 72-500s either in passenger or cargo configuration.
190. ATR Appoints Eric Segura as SVP Procurement and Supply Chain
ATR has appointed Eric Segura, 55, as Senior Vice President Procurement and Supply Chain, effective 1 November 2019. Eric will report to the CEO, Stefano Bortoli and joins the ATR Executive Committee. Eric succeeds David Brigante, who was appointed SVP Programmes and Customer Services earlier in the year.
191. LINK to be First in Japan to Fly ATRs
Japan's new regional carrier LINK will be the first airline to fly the ATR 72-600 in Japan, one of the last Asian countries where ATR aircraft have not yet entered. LINK will start operations in 2013 with the introduction into its fleet of three leased ATR 72-600s. The aircraft will be delivered starting in late 2013.
192. TAME Takes Delivery of First ATR 42-500
Ecuador’s national flag carrier TAME has taken delivery of the first ATR 42-500 that will operate in the country. The European turboprop manufacturer ATR and TAME inked a US$ 54 million dollars contract for three of these aircraft at the last Paris Air Show, in June 2011.
