Delta has placed a firm order with Airbus for 25 A321neo aircraft. This new deal is in addition to Delta’s 2017 order of 100 A321neo aircraft. AirAsia has signed a firm order with Airbus for the purchase of 100 A321neo aircraft. The deal marks the first order placed by AirAsia for the largest model in the A320 Family. These aircraft will support the carrier’s expansion and fleet renewal programme.
14. Philippine Airlines Takes Delivery of First Airbus A321neo
Philippine Airlines (PAL) has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321neo aircraft in Hamburg, Germany. This is the first of 21 Airbus A321neo aircraft ordered by the airline under its fleet renewal programme. Powered by Pratt and Whitney Pure Power engines, the new aircraft features a premium two class layout with 12 business class seats and 154 seats in the main cabin.
15. Air New Zealand Takes Delivery of First Airbus A321neo
Air New Zealand has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321neo, the first of 20 A320neo Family aircraft the airline will acquire. Air New Zealand’s first A321neo is painted in the airline’s iconic all black livery. The aircraft is powered by Pratt & Whitney PurePower engines and accommodates 214 passengers in a single-class layout.
16. Turkish Airlines Firms-Up Order for 20 Additional A321neo Aircraft
Turkish Airlines has firmed-up a commitment for the purchase of 20 additional Airbus A321neo aircraft. The airline already had 72 A321neo on order. The A320neo Family has received more than 4,300 orders from over 75 customers since its launch in 2010.
