Garuda Indonesia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Airbus for the purchase of 25 A320 Family aircraft, making the airline a new customer for the Airbus single aisle product line. The MOU covers 15 standard A320s followed by 10 A320neo aircraft for operation by the carrier's domestic low cost unit Citilink.

Cebu Pacific is to increase flight frequencies and seat capacity on select international flights this January 2012. The airline will take delivery of 4 more brand-new Airbus A320 aircraft from October 2011 to January 2012, allowing the airline to enhance its flight schedule options for travellers.

Vietjet has finalised an order with Airbus for 20 more A321s. The agreement is valued at US$2.39 billion and deliveries are expected to begin from 2017 until 2020. The airline currently has a fleet of 40 aircraft, including Airbus A320 (see video below) and A321s.
