Etihad Aviation Training, the specialist training division of Etihad Aviation Group, has received approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to train Boeing 777 and 787 pilots for European operators and carriers elsewhere which adopt Europe’s air safety standards.

Emirates is to launch a second daily non-stop flight to Amsterdam from 4 December 2013. The airline’s Boeing 777-200LR aircraft will add capacity of more than 3,700 seats a week in both directions. The new daily service will complement Emirates’ popular Airbus A380 flight to Amsterdam, which commenced last August, less than two years after the launch of the route with a Boeing 777.

277. Air New Zealand Increasing Capacity to North America
The airline will move to 14 return services per week on the Auckland - Los Angeles route from mid June, including three flights on Saturdays and a double daily service most other days of the week. The additional Los Angeles services will be operated with a combination of 304 seat Boeing 777-200 and 332 seat Boeing 777-300 aircraft.

Emirates has unveiled plans to increase capacity to Beirut, Lebanon. The Airbus 330-200 currently deployed on one of Beirut’s two daily flights, EK 953/954, will be upgraded to a larger Boeing 777-200LR from 1 June, giving a 12% boost to seat capacity. Similarly, the A330-200 supporting EK 957/958 will be up-gauged to a Boeing 777-300 as of 1 January 2016, providing a 53% increase
280. JAL to Operate Revamped Aircraft on Haneda - Bangkok Route
Japan Airlines (JAL) has confirmed that its fully revamped Boeing 777-200ERs named JAL Sky Suite 777 (SS2) will debut on flights between Haneda and Bangkok from 18 June 2016. The newly revamped aircraft will be progressively introduced on the Haneda Singapore route in August, with plans for further expansion to the Honolulu route from January 2017.
