Silk Way Airlines, a cargo carrier based in Baku, Azerbaijan, has ordered two Boeing 747-8 Freighters. The aircraft are valued at US$704 million at current list prices. Silk Way currently operates Boeing 747-400 Freighters and 767-300 Freighters, with services to Europe, the United Kingdom, Middle East and also Korea, China and Hong Kong.

Delta is to launch nonstop flights between Seattle and Osaka-Kansai (KIX), Japan in 2019. Delta will fly the new route with one of the airline’s Boeing 767-300ER equipped with 25 fully flat-bed seats in Delta One, 29 seats Delta Comfort+ and 171 seats in the Main Cabin.
