IATA's traffic results for November 2012 show an improvement in both passenger and air freight demand. Air travel was 4.6% higher compared to November 2011, up on the October result of 2.9%. IATA’s latest figures show a 6.1% growth in demand (measured in freight tonne kilometers or FTK) for air freight in November 2013 over the same month last year. November’s performance is an improvement on the 4.4% year-on-year demand expansion recorded in October.
