The first A350 XWB for Thai Airways International has rolled out from cabin furnishing and engine installation at the Airbus Toulouse Final Assembly Line in France. Thai Airways A350 XWB will offer a two-class service. The 32 Royal Silk Class seats, with a width of 21 inches, are arranged four abreast in a 1-2-1 configuration.

Thai Airways International has announced that passengers are not allowed to check-in, or carry on-board, any 15-inch MacBook Pro laptops made between September 2015 and February 2017 that are affected by the battery recall. Thai Airways' first Airbus A350 XWB recently completed its maiden flight over South West France and will enter the final phase of production as well as undergo further ground and flight tests. Thai Airways ordered a total of 12 Airbus A350-900 aircraft, with four on direct order and eight on lease.
