Six Senses has signed its first resort in the Seychelles. Scheduled to open in 2015, Six Senses Zil Pasyon is located on the private island of Félicité, approximately 55 kilometers, or 30 nautical miles northeast of Mahe, with access by helicopter from the International Airport or a short boat ride from neighbouring La Digue and Praslin islands.
75. Emirates to Launch Daily Chicago Flights
Emirates has confirmed it will launch a daily service to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, Terminal 5 from 5 August 2014. The service will be operated by a Boeing 777-200LR powered by GE90 engines. Chicago will become the airline’s ninth gateway in the USA, following soon after the commencement of its services to Boston, Massachusetts on 10 March of this year.

Singapore Changi Airport handled 4.60 million passengers in January 2014, an increase of 6.3% year-on-year. Air traffic movements grew correspondingly, with a total of 30,400 landings and take-offs recorded during the month, or 7.6% more compared to a year ago.

80. Cathay Pacific Partners Qatar Airways
Cathay Pacific and Qatar Airways, both members of the oneworld alliance, have entered into a strategic agreement on services operated by both airlines between Hong Kong and Doha, effective 30 March 2014. Under the new agreement, Cathay Pacific and Qatar Airways will each operate one flight between Hong Kong and Qatar daily.
