The Mexican Navy has taken delivery of the two final AS565 MBe Panther helicopters, completing an order for ten purchased in November 2014. The MBe Panther has a maximum take-off weight of 4,500 kg, a top speed of almost 280 km/h and a range of 780 kilometres. It also features modern avionics with a vehicle and engine multifunction display (VEMD).

Honeywell Aerospace has signed a five-year contract to support the French Navy’s fleet of Dassault Falcon Guardian surveillance airplanes based in Tahiti. Sikorsky has appointed UI Helicopter as an authorized Customer Support Center in the Republic of Korea. Based in Yesan, 100 km south of Seoul, the CSC will enable operators of Sikorsky S-76 and S-92 commercial helicopters to source repair and overhaul services within the country’s borders.
