Emirates has unveiled plans to launch daily flights between Dubai and Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh from 1 October 2018. Edinburgh will become Emirates’ second destination in Scotland after Glasgow and its 8th in the United Kingdom after the airline starts its daily service to London Stansted in June.

London Air Services (LAS) has placed firm orders with Bombardier for five Learjet 75 aircraft, valued at approximately US$65 million, based on the 2012 list price for typically equipped aircraft. LAS is the first Canadian operator to place a firm order for the new light jet.
