The robot, named Dash, was created by Savioke, a company which specializes in robot solutions for the hospitality industry. Botlr is now on call full-time, where it will assist Aloft staff in delivering amenities to guest rooms. 8. ANA Signs MOU with Agility Robotics
ANA has signed a MOU with Agility Robotics, a startup spinoff of Oregon State University. The two companies plan to investigate the feasibility of leveraging Agility Robotics' robot platform to develop a new line of Avatars that are more rugged, resilient and suitable for outdoor use.
