At 00:50 GMT on Saturday, 19 March 2016, flydubai flight FZ981 crashed at Rostov-on-Don in Russia, killing everyone on board. Onboard the aircraft were 55 passengers including 33 women, 18 men and 4 children. The 7 crew members consisted of 5 men and 2 women. The nationalities of the passengers included 44 Russians, 8 Ukrainians, 2 Indians and 1 Uzbekistani.
