180. Korean Air Signs MOUs for Purchase of More Than 100 New Aircraft
Korean Air signed MOUs totalling more than US$12 billion (current list prices) with Airbus and Boeing for the purchase of more than 100 new aircraft at the Paris Air show. According to the MOUs, Korean Air will purchase a total of 50 737 MAX-8 (30 firm, 20 options) and two 777-300ER (Extended Range) jetliners from Boeing. AirAsia today confirmed that its Mobile Apps (on iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Nokia) and Mobile Website will no longer be available until further notice. For the time being, AirAsia customers are being encouraged to visit the airline’s website to book flights, manage their booking and check-in.

183. Etihad Airways Launches Flights to Lagos with Manchester City FC Aircraft
Etihad Airways’ has launched a six flights per week service between the airline’s Abu Dhabi home-base and the Nigerian city, Lagos. To celebrate the new service, and Nigeria’s love of football, Etihad Airways operated its iconic sky-blue A330-200 aircraft, painted in Manchester City Football Club’s famous colours, for the launch flight.
