Emirates has launched four flights per week to Porto, its second destination in Portugal. Emirates will operate the route with Boeing 777-200LR aircraft in a two class cabin configuration featuring Emirates’ newest Business Class and Economy Class seats and interiors. The aircraft has 38 lie flat seats in Business Class in a 2-2-2 configuration and 264 seats in Economy Class.

Accor has expanded its Novotel brand to the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai. The Novotel Chiang Mai Nimman Journeyhub houses 202 rooms and suites that offer guests a 55-inch smart TV, minibar, and a spacious bathroom which features a separate bathtub and shower. Select rooms also feature private balconies and garden access.

Etihad Airways has increased capacity on three Asian routes to accommodate the growing demand. Flights between Abu Dhabi and the two major two Chinese cities of Shanghai and Chengdu have been upgraded with Boeing 787 Dreamliners, while the South Korean city of Seoul has been boosted from a Boeing 787 to an Airbus A380.
