According to data compiled by STR Global, the European hotel industry posted mixed results in year-on-year metrics when reported in U.S. dollars, Euros and British Pounds for April 2014. Athens, Greece, rose 17.3% in occupancy to 64.9%, reporting the largest increase in that metric. Lisbon, Portugal, followed with a 15.1% increase to 78.3%.

231. Qatar Airways to Launch Cargo Flights to Mexico
Qatar Airways Cargo is to launch a twice-weekly freighter service to Mexico City on 11 June 2014. This new dedicated cargo route will mark the start of Qatar Airways Cargo operations in Latin America. Qatar Airways Cargo will operate the twice-weekly service between Doha and Mexico City’s Licenciado Benito Juarez International Airport, using a Boeing 777 freighter.
