Thai Airways has arranged special flights for Muslims in Thailand to attend the Hajj Pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, with flights departing from Narathiwat, Suvarnabhumi and Krabi airports to Medina Airport in Saudi Arabia. Thai Airways has arranged 15 special round trip flights that will be able to accommodate approximately 4,325 pilgrims.

Vietjet has unveiled plans to launch direct flights between Danang and New Delhi, Hanoi and Mumbai and from Saigon to Mumbai. The Danang New Delhi and Hanoi Mumbai routes will commence operations on 14 May 2020 with five flights per week and three flights per week respectively. The Saigon Mumbai route will operate four weekly flights starting from 15 May 2020.
