SunExpress, a Turkish airline based in Antalya, is exercising options for 10 additional Boeing 737 MAX 8 airplanes. The purchase, valued at $1.2 billion according to list prices, adds to a previous SunExpress order for 32 MAX airplanes.
16. EgyptAir to Lease Two More Boeing 787-9 Aircraft from AerCap
EgyptAir has signed an agreement to lease two more Boeing 787 airplanes from AerCap. The Egyptian flag carrier began operating the 787-9 this year, deploying the Dreamliner on new direct flights from its hub in Cairo to Washington, D.C., and other cities.
