United Airlines adds More Cash-Free Flights to Network. Effective 2 September 2009, United Airlines will accept only credit and debit cards for most onboard purchases on its trans-Atlantic flights and on flights to and from Brazil and Argentina. From that date, cash will no longer be accepted onboard these flights, except for duty-free purchases.
