177. AirAsia X to Launch Flights to Nagoya, Japan
AirAsia X is to launch flights between Nagoya’s Chubu Centrair International Airport and Kuala Lumpur from 17 March 2014. AirAsia X will operate the route with four weekly flights into Nagoya, Japan. The airline currently operates daily flights to Tokyo (Haneda) and four weekly flights to Osaka (Kansai) from Kuala Lumpur.

Air Tahiti has taken delivery of its first ATR 42-600. The aircraft is part of the firm order for seven latest-generation ATR aircraft ordered in August 2010 and December 2012 (three ATR 42-600s and four ATR 72-600s). The other aircraft will be shipped over the next three years.

Korean Air Chairman, Yang Ho Cho, has been honored for his contributions to the Los Angeles community and economy through his airline, shipping and real estate enterprises. The Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) named Mr. Cho a 2013 Eddy Awards honoree at a gala awards event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
