Paraparaumu today became the 27th destination on Air New Zealands domestic network with the launch of direct services between Paraparaumu (Kapiti Coast) and Auckland. The new service is being operated by Air New Zealand regional subsidiary Air Nelson, with 18 return flights per week between the Kapiti Coast and Auckland.

Cathay Pacific has partnered Swire Hotels to launch a new inflight menu promotion for passengers travelling in its First or Business Class. Starting from November, a selection of the delectable dishes found on the menus at Swire Hotels restaurants in Hong Kong and Beijing will be made available onboard selected Cathay Pacific flights departing from Hong Kong.

Tourism Australia has signed a $10 million marketing deal with Jetstar aimed at boosting Japanese inbound tourism and further expanding brand Australias presence in Asia Pacific. The three year agreement runs to mid 2014 and will see Tourism Australia and Jetstar each contribute at least $1.6 million per year on a range of joint marketing, digital and social media activities.

214. Munich Airport Sees More Flights to Asia in Winter Timetable
One highlight of the new winter timetable is the first-ever scheduled service at Munich Airport with the world's largest passenger aircraft now flying, the Airbus A380. Starting on 25 November 2011, Emirates will be flying the gigantic aircraft on its afternoon flight to Dubai. Lufthansa will also be operating an Airbus A380 in the pre-Christmas season on daily flights to New York

216. Fijis Air Pacific Orders 3 Airbus A330-200s
Fijis Air Pacific has signed a firm contract to buy three new A330-200 aircraft. The A330-200 aircraft will be delivered in 2013 and operated from Fiji on trans-Pacific routes to Los Angeles and throughout the Asia Pacific region to Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand.
