17. SAS’ First Airbus A350 to Enter Long-Haul Service on 28 January
The first of eight Airbus A350s has officially entered SAS’ fleet. The aircraft, Ingegerd Viking, will enter long-haul service on the 28th of January. Based at Copenhagen Airport, the A350 will operate on seven routes during the first year, including Chicago, Beijing, New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong and San Francisco.

Negotiations between SAS and the Swedish pilot union SPF have concluded with the two parties agreeing on a new collective bargaining agreement. All SAS flights in Sweden are now scheduled to resume as soon as possible.
