166. PeruRail to Temporarily Suspend Operations on Cusco-Pachar Rail Line
Ferrocarril Transandino (FTSA), concessionaire of the railroad in southern Peru, has notified PeruRail about the suspension of train operations on the Cusco – Pachar line (km 34 to km 61 of the Cusco - Machu Picchu railroad) between 2 January and 15 April 2012. Train transit between Pachar, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu and Hydroelectric will not be affected.
