AirAsia plans to launch daily flights between Bangkok and Nay Pyi Taw, the capital of Myanmar, beginning in October 2013. Currently, AirAsia offers three daily flights between Bangkok and Yangon, and one daily flight between Bangkok and Mandalay. In addition to Thailand, the low-cost airline also connects Yangon to Kuala Lumpur via one daily flight.

Singapore Airlines has signed a memorandum of co-operation (MOC) with Changi Airport Group and South African Tourism to promote travel to South Africa. Under the agreement, the three parties will explore and implement activities jointly to promote tourist traffic to South Africa through Singapore Airlines’ services to Cape Town and Johannesburg via Singapore’s Changi Airport.
37. Hong Kong and Taiwan to Promote Cruise Tourism
The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and the Taiwan Tourism Bureau have reached an agreement with Royal Caribbean International to schedule two deployments of cruise liner Mariner of the Seas to Hong Kong and Taiwan on 29 October and 2 November this year. Hong Kong will be the home port of the ship for both deployments.

SAS Go and SAS Plus will replace Business Class, Economy Extra and Economy Class on 9 June 2013. The launch of Our Cafe will see all passengers on board being offered the same range of food and drink.
