2. Scoot Launches Changi - Melbourne Flights
Scoot has launched non-stop flights between Singapore Changi and its fourth Australian destination, Melbourne. Scoot will operate the route with Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft five times weekly, rising to daily during peak travel periods. Scoot’s 787 Dreamliner features modern conveniences such as inflight internet and in-seat power throughout the aircraft.
3. Scoot to Launch Flights to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Scoot, a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, has confirmed that it will launch thrice weekly, non-stop Jeddah-Singapore flights on 2 May 2016. Scoot’s services will be operated with Boeing 787 Dreamliners and will replace Singapore Airlines’ existing services via Dubai, reducing the flight time by about four hours. Scoot, the long-haul, low-cost wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, will launch thrice weekly flights to Sapporo (New Chitose Airport) via Taipei from 1 October 2016. Sapporo will be Scoot’s third destination in Japan after Osaka and Tokyo, bringing the number of services Scoot operates a week to Japan to 16, from 13 presently.

Scoot has renewed its distribution agreement with Amadeus, ensuring that the airline’s fares and inventory continue to be available to Amadeus’ global network of travel agencies.
