Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has taken delivery of its second Airbus A320neo. Gulf Air’s A320neo (new engine option) is powered by LEAP-1A engines from CFM International and features large wingtips known as Sharklets.

28. Cebu Pacific Takes Delivery of 43rd Aircraft
Cebu Pacific has taken delivery of its 43rd aircraft. Acquired brand-new from the Airbus facility in Hamburg, Germany, CEB’s 43rd aircraft is the 2nd Airbus A320 aircraft in the Philippines equipped with Sharklets, a new fuel-saving wing tip device. CEB now operates 25 Airbus A320 and 10 A319 aircraft, as well as 8 ATR 72-500 aircraft.
29. Bhutan’s Drukair Orders an Airbus A319
Drukair, the flag carrier of landlocked Eastern Himalayan mountain Kingdom of Bhutan, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for an Airbus A319 aircraft fitted with fuel saving Sharklets to complement its existing fleet of two A319s.
30. Jetstar’s Fleet Grows to 100 Aircraft
The Jetstar Group now has three aircraft fitted with the fuel saving Sharklets – one each for Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Japan and now Jetstar Australia and New Zealand. The aircraft with the special 100th livery registered VH-VFN will be flown on major domestic routes and over the coming months and is expected to visit New Zealand, Singapore and Japan.

Lufthansa Group has firmed up a previous Supervisory Board decision from March this year and signed for 100 A320 Family aircraft (35 A320neo, 35 A321neo and 30 A320ceo with Sharklets). The Lufthansa Group has been operating the A320 Family since October 1989, and was the launch customer for the A321, and belonged to the first operators of the A319 and A320.
32. easyJet Takes Delivery of 250th Airbus Aircraft
easyJet has taken delivery of it 250th Airbus A320 family aircraft. To celebrate the 250th delivery, easyJet has had the aircraft painted with an unique livery which features 250 miniature aircraft. As with other recent deliveries to easyJet, the A320 is equipped with the latest technology and fuel-saving Sharklets.
