Acquired brand-new from the Airbus facility in Hamburg, Germany, CEB’s 43rd aircraft is the 2nd Airbus A320 aircraft in the Philippines equipped with Sharklets, a new fuel-saving wing tip device. CEB now operates 25 Airbus A320 and 10 A319 aircraft, as well as 8 ATR 72-500 aircraft.

The Jetstar Group now has three aircraft fitted with the fuel saving Sharklets – one each for Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Japan and now Jetstar Australia and New Zealand. The aircraft with the special 100th livery registered VH-VFN will be flown on major domestic routes and over the coming months and is expected to visit New Zealand, Singapore and Japan.

The Lufthansa Group has been operating the A320 Family since October 1989, and was the launch customer for the A321, and belonged to the first operators of the A319 and A320.
