According to data from STR Global’s June 2014 pipeline report, Russia, Poland and Ukraine are expected to increase their room supply by adding 18% (32,700 rooms) on top of their existing supply. These three countries combined will account for 46% of Eastern Europe’s future room supply.

Bingo Airways, a new Polish charter airline, has started flight operations with its first Airbus A320 aircraft. The fleet will grow to three aircraft by the end of 2012. The new A320s, powered by IAE V2500 engines, are configured in an all economy 180 seat configuration.

The Polish Airline, Enter Air, has ordered two Boeing 737-8 airplanes with options for two more jets. An all-Boeing operator and Poland’s biggest charter carrier, Enter Air began operations in 2010 with a single 737 airplane. Today, the airline’s fleet includes 22 Next-Generation 737s and two 737 MAX airplanes.

32. Qatar Airways to Open Contact Centre in Wroclaw, Poland
Qatar Airways will open a new multi-lingual Customer Contact Centre based in the Polish city of Wrocław from early next year. The airline launches flights to the Polish capital Warsaw on 5 December 2012 with four-flights-a-week direct from the carrier’s Doha hub.
