Flight testing on the aircraft began in the summer of 2009.
63. JetWave Receives EASA Certification for Airbus A319
Honeywell and EAD Aerospace have received European Aviation Safety Agency certification for its JetWave high-speed satellite communications hardware on the Airbus A319. The certification allows JetWave to be installed and used on the A319 aircraft, providing passengers, pilots and operators with access to Inmarsat’s Global Xpress Ka-band service, GX Aviation.
64. Airbus A350-1000 Receives EASA and FAA Type Certification
Delivery of the first Airbus A350-1000, the longest-fuselage version of Airbus’ A350 XWB jetliner, is planned before year-end now that Airbus has received the aircraft’s Type Certification by the European and U.S. airworthiness authorities.
