Singapore Airlines has decided to upgrade its fleet of Boeing 777 aircraft with Astronautics Corporation of America's Block Point 4 (BP4) Electronic Flight Bag (EFB). The EFB is a form-fit-function replacement for the existing Astronautics BP3 EFBs on SIA's Boeing 777s and can be installed overnight.

237. TAAG Takes Delivery of Boeing 777-300ER
TAAG Linhas Aereas de Angola (Angola Airlines) has taken delivery of its first Boeing 777-300ER. The delivery is the first of two airplanes ordered by TAAG in October 2009. TAAG will use the airplanes for route expansion to destinations including direct routes to Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Lisbon and Oporto.

Emirates will increase passenger capacity on its Chicago route when it switches from Boeing 777-200LR currently operating the route, to a larger Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The change will take place on 1 May 2015. Emirates launched its Chicago service on 5 August 2014. Less than a year later, the route has carried 66,000 passengers and 3,410 tonnes of cargo to date.

Air Lease Corporation (ALC) has finalized an order for 14 Next-Generation Boeing 737-800s, with options for four more, and five 777-300ER (extended range) airplanes. The order marks the completion of part of an agreement announced during the Paris Air Show in June. At list prices, the order is valued at $2.5 billion.
