Millennium & Copthorne International Limited (MCIL) has appointed Mr Nick Israel as General Manager of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore.
In his new capacity, he will be put at the helm of all aspects of the hotel. He will manage and oversee the operations and the overall success of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore.
"I am confident that Nick's extensive knowledge of the industry, the quality of his past experience and his revenue drive will be a tremendous asset to our group," Mr. Des Pugson, Senior Vice President of Operations, Asia Pacific and General Manager of the Orchard Hotel, Singapore.
Nick has worked in Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore as Resident Manager from the hotel's pre-opening in 1999 until his promotion and was transfer to Millennium Hotel Sydney where he has been General Manager in 2001.
Mr. Israel's career in the hotel industry started as early as 1975, when he joined Hilton International Sydney. Apart from Hilton, he has held several management positions in major hotels in Australia, including Novotel in Coffs Harbour, The Pavilion Hotel, Canberra, Hotel Nikko Darling Harbour, Sydney and Ramada Grand Hotel, Adelaide.
