Utell has announced the rollout of its annual Great Rate Summer program.
Hundreds of independent and small-chain properties are participating in Utell's
promotion, providing travel agencies with a wide range of domestic and
international hotel selections for business and leisure travelers during July and
August.
Discounts begin at 25%, and agents can reserve rooms for clients using
simple Great Rate Summer (GRS) access codes in their native GDS.
Utell is a subsidiary of Pegasus Solutions, Inc., (Nasdaq: PEGS).
According to Mark Wells, Utell's president and chief operating
officer, "It appears that occupancy rates are gradually recovering,
and the general public is reserving rooms if the price is enticing.
Utell's unparalleled depth of properties, from exclusive resorts to
economy hotels, offers summer travelers the right price in the
right location."
A number of popular summer destinations, such as New York, Miami
Beach, Paris and Sydney, are included in Great Rate Summer. Rates are
available at participating properties from July 1st through September
3rd, and are valid seven days a week. All bookings require a minimum
two-night stay, with no maximum stay restrictions. All bookings made
via Great Rate Summer are fully commissionable.
