The Dubai Summer Surprises Organising Committee decided in a meeting organised today that a sum of Dhs. 100,000 will be allocated to 'Meeting and Greeting' the First Families of
DSS.
The 'First Family' is the first visiting family from any GCC country entering Dubai through the Dubai International Airport every Wednesday night during the ten-week period, starting Wednesday, the 19th of June. The concept of DSS First Families was started originally during Dubai Summer Surprises 1999.
Says Laila Suhail, Project Director, Dubai Summer Surprises, "The First Family concept goes with the DSS philosophy of creating pleasant surprises and wonderful memories for our visiting families. Over the years', the first family concept has also added excitement to the event."
The lucky family is given a warm reception at the Airport by a Welcoming Committee that includes the organisers of the themed surprise the DSS Organising Committee team, the DSS Mascot, Modhesh and the respective Surprises mascot. |
