Delta Shuttle is extending its "20 Minutes or 20,000 Miles" check-in to gate guarantee, and triple-miles bonus, until June 30, 2002. Delta Shuttle, which already guarantees customers a seat or else a free ticket, continues to be the only shuttle carrier to offer a guaranteed check-in to gate time.
The Delta Shuttle "20 Minutes or 20,000 Miles" promotion guarantees that customers traveling Monday through Friday between Boston; New York; and Washington, D.C., will arrive at the gate 20 minutes or less after completion of ticket counter or self-service kiosk check-in, or receive 20,000 bonus miles in Delta’s SkyMiles program. SkyMiles members also will earn triple bonus miles for each one-way flight during the promotion. See below for other important restrictions.

With all-leather seats and a spacious 36 inches of seat pitch, Delta Shuttle offers 17 nonstop, hourly departures between New York-LaGuardia and Boston-Logan International or Washington-Reagan National Monday through Friday. Delta Shuttle also offers 16 nonstop, hourly departures on the weekend - each with guaranteed seating for all passengers arriving at the gate at least three minutes prior to departure. If a scheduled flight is full, Delta Shuttle will either roll out another aircraft within 15 minutes or award the passenger a free Delta Shuttle ticket, pending air traffic control and weather. Reservations are not required. Delta SkyMiles members earn mileage by flying Delta, Delta Connection, Delta Express, Delta Shuttle and Delta's airline partners. |
