Meliá Benoa Bali All-Inclusive Resort Acquires Yacht


Jeroen van Dongen, General Manager of Meliá Benoa All-Inclusive Resort announced today the official inauguration of Raka 9, the resort's very own luxurious 31ft yacht.

The Raka 9, a Sealine 310 Statesman cruiser which was purchased in October 2001, had underdone a re-fit phase for her new life in Bali and boasts a bounty of pampering and practical amenities. Overnight accommodation includes 2 luxurious and well-appointed cabins that sleeps four and bathroom with hot/cold shower stall.

"Raka 9 is in response to the increasing popularity of water sports activities among our quests" said Mr. van Dongen. "We believe, as being the only All Inclusive resort in Asia with its own yacht, it will heighten the holiday experience at the resort, particularly among boating enthusiasts".

Meliá Benoa All-Inclusive Resort offers regular 90 minutes sunset cruise at a rate of US$40.00 per person which includes two-way transfers between the resort and Marina, unlimited juices, soft drinks, beers and wines. Guests staying at the resort under the Gold All-Inclusive option are entitled to a complimentary sunset cruise as part of their benefits.

Raka 9 is also available for private charter at rates ranging from US$1,100.00 net per day (8 hours) or US$2,800.00 net for overnight stay (24 hours). The rates include unlimited cruising during charter, two trained crew, snorkelling and professional fishing equipment, wines, beers, juices, soft drinks and discounted rates for delicatessen order.

Meliá Benoa All-Inclusive resort is located on the Northern tip of Nusa Dua on the beach of Tanjung Benoa, offers guests a choice of two stay options - the Blue and Gold options.

BLUE OPTION

The Blue All-Inclusive option includes accommodation in an oversized 50- square metre Deluxe room, daily meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner from a choice of Meliá Benoa All-Inclusive Resort's three restaurants, special daily poolside snacks, a free-flow of beverages (juices, mineral water, soft-drinks, cocktails, local brand beer, wines and spirits, such as gin, vodka, whisky and rum). Guests are also entitled to complimentary use of the non-motorised water sports and equipment including sailing, wind surfing, canoeing and snorkelling, as well as other facilities including the gymnasium, squash, table tennis, billiards, archery and darts. Also available is nightly evening entertainment including a Balinese cultural show and a Broadway-style extravaganza.

GOLD OPTION

In addition to the benefits offered in the Blue Option, guests who opt for the Gold Option can enjoy 70 square. meter Executive Suite accommodation, a Sunset Cruise on the resort's yacht "Raka 9", a special selection on the a la carte menu at any of the three restaurants, and 24-hour room service. Guests also enjoy an unlimited selection of complimentary imported spirits, beers and wines from the hotel's restaurants, bars and the in-room minibar. The Gold option also includes Internet access, a reserved beach chair, and daily complimentary laundry services, late check out.

The Blue Option is offered at a rate of US$105.00 net per person per night based on twin sharing. The Gold Option is offered at a rate of US$150.00 net per person per night based on twin sharing.
