The strike action will again affect some of Air New Zealand's services to Australia, the Pacific Islands and Asia, in particular flights scheduled for morning departures. On Friday two flights have been cancelled and fourteen flights have been rescheduled with later departures.

The cancelled flights are:

* NZ 93 and NZ 94 operating Auckland-Nagoya-Auckland. Passengers have been rebooked onto other flights operating into Japan with road or air transport into Nagoya if required.

The rescheduled flights are:

* NZ 66 & NZ 67 operating Auckland-Nadi-Auckland. Passengers booked on these Boeing 747 services will be re-accommodated on two separate Boeing 767 aircraft which will depart eight and 16 hours late respectively

* NZ 109 & NZ 110 operating Auckland-Cairns-Auckland departing 14 hours late

* NZ 119 & NZ 118 operating Auckland-Sydney-Auckland departing 3.5 hours late

Air New Zealand booked customers affected by these changes have been advised and either rebooked on the next available Air New Zealand service or with an alternative carrier at no additional cost to themselves. Customers who are unable to travel on alternative options will be offered a refund or voucher for future travel, depending on the nature of their ticket.

Air New Zealand and FARSA are to re-enter mediation next week.
