The Fair Trade Commission (FTC) announced that it will approve the planned merger of Japan Airlines (JAL) and Japan Air System (JAS) under specified conditions.
After presenting conclusive evidence that the proposed merger would result in a loss of passenger convenience, ANA considers today's decision a disappointing conclusion. Irrespective, ANA will continue to focus on being number one in customer satisfaction and will redouble its drive to raise the quality of its product and operations.
