Mongolian Airlines has received its first
Boeing [NYSE: BA] 737-800 with blended winglets under an agreement
between Mongolian Airlines and GATX Capital. The leased jetliner
is expected to enter service with the Ulaanbaatar-based carrier
this month serving destinations in China, Japan and Korea. The
acquisition is part of Mongolian Airlines' on-going effort to update its fleet. The 737-800's long range and low community noise
level will allow flexibility in future growth by enabling the airline to serve new international destinations. |
