Six Continents Hotels Launches Priority Privilege

Travel News Asia 10 October 2002

Six Continents Hotels has expanded its member only dining and accommodation programme and re-launched it as "Priority Privilege", introducing greater member benefits that can be redeemed not only within Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific but throughout Asia as well.

Operating as Pacific Privilege for the past 9 years, the enhanced Priority Privilege now provides members with exclusive discounts at more than 40 hotels in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and participating hotels throughout Asia. Benefits include free dining for members when dining with at least one other guest and a range of accommodation certificates including free night stays and discounts of up to 70% off hotel rack rates.

Upon joining Priority Privilege, members are automatically enrolled in Six Continents Hotels' global travel rewards programme, Priority Club Rewards which has 13.5 million members worldwide. This allows members to earn Priority Club Rewards Points or airline miles when staying at more than 3,000 hotels worldwide. Points never expire and can be used toward free accommodation, retail certificates and brand name merchandise.

"Guest recognition is a key driver for hotel guests worldwide who choose to stay at our hotels. By launching Priority Privilege and linking it to our popular Priority Club Rewards programme, we are increasing our ability to recognise our repeat guests and show our appreciation for their loyalty," said Six Continents Hotels' Chief Operating Officer for Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific, Phil Lee.

The added benefits are available upon renewing an existing membership. Alternatively, members can purchase their new membership now to immediately start receiving the new programme benefits.
