Soneva Gili Resort & Spa, Maldives, to open new Presidential Suite

Six Senses Resorts & Spas is to re-establish the benchmark for Maldivian resorts when it unveils its new Presidential Suite at Soneva Gili later this year.

The stunning Presidential Suite will compliment the unique setting of the Maldives’ first all-over-water resort, which opened in 2002 with 44 villas and residences.

The Soneva Gili Presidential Suite is like no other. It is made up of five separate buildings which house two master bedrooms, four guest rooms; and a private spa with steam room, sauna and massage pavilion plus an air conditioned gym. There are two m.Fridays on call at all times - with private quarters - and two boats for the resident’s personal use. For the children there is also a waterslide into the lagoon.

The accommodation measures one thousand square metres overall, making it one of the largest Presidential Suites available anywhere. The complex is to also include a kitchen and wine cellar, concealed entertainment centre and large living area. And all this is created in the ecologically friendly rustic chic style of Soneva.
