Qantas and British Airways launch global travel deals from Singapore for Visa cardholders

Qantas and British Airways today announced the start of an airfare bonanza by offering attractive deals from Singapore to popular destinations in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. The airlines have teamed up with Visa to offer Visa cardholders round-trip economy class tickets from S$250 to Bali and Sabah, S$488 to Perth, and S$888 to Frankfurt. Payment must be made exclusively on Visa cards.

For just S$588 travellers can book flights from Singapore to popular Australian destinations like Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. A tropical escape to Bali can be had for as little as S$250.

Perennial favourites on the airlines' long-haul routes to Paris and Frankfurt are also available for S$888, and London from S$998 during this latest round of global offers. New Zealand is also within reach for adventure seekers, with prices as low as S$788.

For passengers who enjoy greater comfort during their flights, they can also travel to Sydney and Melbourne on British Airways' premier economy class - World Traveller Plus - with affordable prices from S$888.

The sale runs from today until 5pm, 10 January 2004. The airfares are valid for travel between 26 January and 31 March 2004. To be eligible for the promotion, customers must pay and ticket within 48 hours of booking using their Visa card.
