Nakheel unveils innovative developments at Arabian Travel Market 2004

Travel News Asia 27 April 2004

Nakheel, the uniquely focused property development company in Dubai, announced today that it will unveil a variety of intriguing and exclusive investment opportunities for The Palm and The World. This information will be available at Nakheel's interactive three-story stand, which boasts a modern and grand design complete with state-of-the-art technology, captivating project models, onsite investment options and a wealth of the latest information from experienced and professional Nakheel staff - establishing the Nakheel stand as an essential destination at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) on 4-7 May 2004 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

"We are committed to making Nakheel's presence at this year's ATM an even bigger success than last year and the years before," commented Sultan bin Sulayem, Chairman, Nakheel Corporation. "Visitors to the Nakheel stand will again be amazed with the ground-breaking developments we are launching for The Palm, Jumeirah, The Palm, Jebel Ali and The World - ranging from exciting new real estate opportunities, to investment prospects, tourist attractions and much more."

Following the unveiling of The World at last year's ATM, this exhibition comes just in time for Nakheel to respond in more detail to the excitement, anticipation and interest of its recent projects. Nakheel has received calls from all over the world this past year for more information on The World, such as its size and location, with more to be revealed shortly; the waiting is over.

What's more, Dubai is projected to have 15million tourists per annum by 2010 and Dubai's tourism market is rapidly progressing to service this demand, according to DTCM figures. The Palm and The World developments will cater to this market growth and deliver several unique tourist destinations with exciting water activities, serene beaches and a plethora of unforgettable shops and restaurants - making a person's stay on Nakheel's islands an out-of-this-world experience.

"The Middle East tourism market is important to Nakheel, as we envisage that many of these regional tourists will make Dubai a key destination in their travel plans. Therefore, ATM is a significant platform for Nakheel to intrigue the tourism sector with our outstanding visual, conceptual and structural developments," said Wahid Attalla, Executive Director, Commercial and Operations.

Visitors will find a trip to Nakheel's ATM stand awe-inspiring and informative, with a modern and grand appearance that will showcase the iconic landmarks of Dubai, as well as professional staff that possess an expertise to explain the full suite of Nakheel's projects and answer any questions one may have. A variety of plasma screens and interactive touch-screens will display the most up-to-date information and there is the opportunity to view Nakheel's projects through various new multi media forms as well.

In addition, the latest project replicas will be showcased for all to view. The stand also boasts a designated private sales area on the second level, whereby visitors can be one of the lucky few to purchase the newly launched properties. The third level, however, will be a VIP lounge for Nakheel's dignitary visitors to meet and finalize their deals. The Nakheel stand is number 500 and will be located in Sheikh Rashid Hall at The Dubai World Trade Centre.
