Lasse Heinonen has been appointed
as Finnair's new Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as of October 1, 2004. Mr Heinonen will also
become a member of the Group Management Team. Heinonen comes to Finnair from
Novartis Pharma Services Inc. in Basel, Switzerland, where he was CFO.
In addition, the following appointments have been made in the
airlines' Economics and Finance Department: Mika Stirkkinen has been appointed Vice President and
Group Treasurer effective as of August 15, 2004. Aulikki Hurme has been appointed Vice President as of August 15, 2004. Ms Hurme's area of
responsibility is Corporate accounting and Financial Services. |
