Check in early advises Philippine Airlines

Travel News Asia 20 February 2004

Philippine Airlines is advising passengers on its international flights departing Manila and Cebu to check in at least three-and-a-half hours before scheduled departure.

Passengers taking PAL domestic flights at Manila and Cebu have been advised to check in at least two-and-a-half hours prior to scheduled departure.

The airline said adjusted check-in times are necessary to ease passenger inconvenience on account of stricter and lengthier security checks at both airports.

PAL also said the earlier check in times should relieve the expected congestion at the airports with the onset of the peak summer travel period next month.

PAL's check-in counters at NAIA Centennial Terminal 2 in Manila are open to serve passengers starting 2:30 a.m. for domestic flights and 4:00 a.m. for international flights, daily.
