The
Taj Palace Hotel in Dubai, a member of the Taj Group of Hotels, Resorts and Palaces
has appointed Sanjeev Tandon as its new Director of Sales and Marketing.
Recently, Sanjeev Tandon served as Director of Sales and Marketing of
the Sheraton Muscat in Oman since 2000 before joining Taj Palace Dubai. His other hotel experience includes stints at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai, Le Meridien
in Saudi Arabia and The Oberoi Hotel in New Delhi. His first hotel job was as a Catering Assistant at the
Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai in 1986.
In his new role, Tandon, will oversee a team of 12 members and will be responsible for the overall sales and
marketing activities to drive revenue, increase market penetration and profitability of the hotel.
Sanjeev Tandon hails from Lucknow in India and holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel
Management, Mumbai and has an MBA with specialization in Marketing from the S.P. Jain Institute of Management
and Research, Mumbai. Tandon is married with two children. |
