Marco Polo Hotels Partner with Vietnam Airlines

The Marco Polo Hotel Group has announced a new marketing partnership with Golden Lotus Plus, Vietnam Airlines’ Frequent Flyer Program. Effective September 1, 2004, members of Golden Lotus Plus will be able to earn frequent flyer points at any of the Marco Polo Hotel Group’s properties throughout Asia. Members may also redeem points at Marco Polo Hotels through the Golden Lotus Plus awards system.

“With the addition of the Golden Lotus Plus Frequent Flyer Program, we have again expanded our marketing network to provide important benefits to our valued customers and providing another reason to choose Marco Polo Hotels,” said Jeffrey Flowers, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Development of the Marco Polo Hotel Group.

Currently in partnership with other major airlines such as Asia Miles, Virgin Freeway, JAL Mileage Bank, Mabuhay Miles, Royal Orchid Plus and Northwest WorldPerks, the Marco Polo Hotel Group will be one of the first hotel groups in Asia to team up with Vietnam Airlines.

“We are most pleased to partner with the Marco Polo Hotel Group, our first international hotel partner out of Vietnam. Golden Lotus Plus members now can earn frequent flyer points not only in Vietnam but Hong Kong, China & the Philippines as well,” said Nguyen Minh Toan, General Manager, Golden Lotus Plus Centre.
