Marriott Hotels, Jordan
recently signed an agreement with Ammon College for Hospitality & Tourism Education. This agreement will allow the students
of Ammon College to practice their internship in their respective specialization in any of the Marriott Hotels in Jordan. The hours the
students spend at any given time will be used as credit hours at the final
stage of graduation.
"In our endeavor to support the tourism industry and develop young
Jordanians, we are extremely proud and honored to be part of this program
said Vatche Yergatian, Hotel Manager for the Amman Marriott Hotel who signed the agreement as a representative of Marriott Hotels in Jordan.
He
added, "We are definitely enthusiastic to be involved because this is beneficial for both parties. The students that work at Marriott Hotels can
potentially be full time employees in the future. This only endorses our
commitment to producing superior hoteliers. Marriott Hotels in Jordan are
dedicated to continuously support the destination, Jordan and young Jordanians looking for a career in the hotel industry."
