Hertz Australia offers special Weekend Rates from A$29 per day

Travel News Asia 12 July 2004

Hertz Australia has introduced super-low weekend rental rates from just A$29 a day inclusive of all applicable taxes and charges.

These “drive away, no more to pay” weekend rates are available on late model vehicles at selected key airport locations around Australia for rentals from now until 31 August. Bookings must be made by 31 July.

Rentals at these low rates include GST, Vehicle Registration Recovery, Stamp Duty, Airport Concession Fee Recovery and Collision Damage Waiver, which is subject to an Accident Damages Excess if a vehicle is damaged.

Hertz is offering rates from just A$29 a day on Group A vehicles, such as a new 5-door Toyota Echo hatchback sedan. A A$4 incremental charge applies each time a customer upgrades to a higher car category – for example a group B vehicle such as a Nissan Pulsar manual is priced from just A$33 a day during the offer period.

These weekend rates are only valid between 00.01 am Friday and 23.59 pm Monday evening. Pick up must occur between 00.01 am Friday and 12.00pm Sunday, to be returned by 23.59pm Monday for a minimum rental period of one day. Rentals are limited at these prices and other conditions apply. Additional coverage options and fuel are not included.
