Evason Resorts in Thailand introduce Special Travel Industry Rate

Travel News Asia 9 June 2003

Two of Thailand’s premier resorts, the Evason Phuket Resort & Spa, and the Evason Hua Hin Resort & Spa have announced a special industry rate, exclusive to travel professionals: THB 3,500 net (USD 81)* for an Evason Room or Evason Studio Room at either of the resorts.

This rate also includes American Breakfast Buffet for two and is available through October 31 2003.

Evason Hua Hin Resort & Spa faces the Gulf of Siam and is set in 20 acres of tropical gardens with waterways and lotus ponds. It reflects the charm of Hua Hin itself and is located right on the seashore.

Guest rooms feature a fresh and unconventional design, which is an entirely new concept for Thailand. They are spread out within eight separate low-rise buildings in a tropical garden setting, and all have open style bathrooms, which create more space and light in the room. A totally new approach to materials, finishes and colours contribute to a refreshing experience.

Several dining alternatives include the Beach Restaurant which specialises in seafood and pizza from a menu that is changed daily; The Restaurant which features a bountiful buffet breakfast and ‘The Other Restaurant”, serving ‘fusion’ dishes - a creative mix of Thai and Asian cuisine in an al fresco setting overlooking the splendid Lotus ponds. The Wine Cellar comes complete with a table ready for wine tastings!

The Evason Hua Hin offers a wealth of activities including water sports and tennis, plus ‘Just Kids’ for young guests. For golfers, the Evason Hua Hin offers easy access to six courses, most with superbly equipped clubhouses and all within 30 - 35 minutes of the resort.

Evason Phuket Resort & Spa is located on Rawai Beach at the southern tip of the island and is set amidst 25 hectares (64 acres) of beautifully landscaped tropical gardens facing the Andaman Sea. The resort has its own private island beach - Bon Island - only 15 minutes away by a free shuttle boat.

The 285 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites at Evason Phuket Resort & Spa feature open-style bathrooms, which create more space and light in the room. A totally new approach to materials, finishes and colours contributes to a refreshing experience - a design unlike any other in Phuket.

Apart from the main restaurant, Into the View, guests can choose from an Asian fusion fine dining restaurant and a Thai restaurant, all offering stunning views of the Andaman Sea. There are several bars and a wine cellar from which to choose.

Recreation facilities available are three swimming pools, a fitness centre, tennis courts and water sports on Bon Island. Phuket also has good waters for diving, and if it’s something you have not tried before, or want to brush up on your skills, the Evason has a dive school with qualified instructors.

Six Senses Spa. Evason Phuket Resort & Spa and Evason Hua Hin Resort & Spa both offer Six Senses Spas as a key element. The Spas offer a wide range of holistic wellness, rejuvenation and beauty treatments for Balancing Senses, administered under the guidance of expert therapists.
