Abacus Travel Systems
in Singapore has appointed Mr Andrew Yip Hon Mun as General Manager.
Mr Yip will have overall responsibility for the daily operations and business
development activities of Abacus Travel Systems which is the Abacus marketing organisation in Singapore. Mr Yip is also responsible for driving
business strategies and ideas to serve the needs of Abacus’ Singapore-based
customers.
Mr Yip is seconded to Abacus from Singapore Airlines where he has worked
for more than six years. During this time he was assigned to several overseas
postings throughout Asia and Europe. Most recently, he was based in Belgium and Luxembourg serving in the capacity of General Manager for
Singapore Airlines’ operations for two and a half years. Prior to joining
Singapore Airlines, Mr Yip was with the Singapore civil service.
